picture hits

Hit count is increased for a picture, when a user clicks it to enlarge.

Relative picture hits mapping (linear representation):

white: hits = 0,
black: hits = current maximum hits
yellow: no pictures to fill the row

The collection is mapped chronologically, as they were added to the collection. At the top left are the "oldest", at the bottom right the newest pictures.
There are 250 pictures per row. Each picture is represented by a vertical stripe in the row. The darker the stripe, the higher the picture's hit count.

keywords hits

Hit count is increased for a keyword, when a user clicks it to display the related pictures. Keyword selection presets (topics) on the collection display pages are not taken into account.

Relative keyword hits mapping:

white: hits = 0,
black: hits = current maximum hits
yellow: no keywords to fill the row

The keywords are mapped alphabetically (by German keywords, which are linked 1:1 to the English keywords).
There are 250 keywords per row. Each keyword is represented by a vertical stripe in the row. The darker the stripe, the higher the keyword's hit count.
