The start of a user session can be precisely determined. The end of a user session can not be determined exactly (only by the absence of further requests) and thus users online counters rely to a timeout to consider user sessions ended. The standard timeout on the web is 20 minutes. We are using a timeout of 10 minutes. NEW: Robots are now filtered out from the statistics (11.03.2008). |
